For better or for worse, I can’t properly function before noon without a cup of joe. I’m not even that picky; I drink a lot of coffee, so I often buy the cheap stuff. Sometimes I’ll have a soda or an energy drink, but a black cup of coffee is one of the best energy drinks around, ounce for ounce.
I only mention this because I’m gearing up to move away from the little shop that sells quite possibly the best blend I’ve ever tried. They call it “Russian Tea Cake,” and I haven’t been able to find an analogous or similar blend anywhere else.
I’m going to have to buy ten pounds of the stuff before I leave.
